It was mentioned to me that I should start a blog, so here I am. I have avoided most modern world phenomena up to this point. So, to anyone who has made it this far, apologies for any technical oddness not in line with other more proficient blogs and bloggers.

I am, as the title suggests, an Average Autistic in Recovery. I was diagnosed autistic around 10 years ago and with ADHD around 8 years ago. My time sober is not as long as that, and my recovery approach is one day at a time (ODAAT).

The purpose of this whole thing is to put into words some of my day to day experiences and challenges as an Average Autistic in Recovery. I guess, to share the contents of my brain. Not all of it, just the bits that I think may help others or the bits that I find so confusing it literally just needs noting down somewhere for future generations to learn from.
